A MID-ORDER collapse saw Oxenhope suffer a five-wicket defeat at Northowram Hedge Top in the Halifax League Premier Division.
Batting first, they made a solid start with Josh Fleetwood (78) and Tom Mawer (30) laying the platform at 122-2 for a big score. However, the Worth Valley side couldn't build on this and they were all out for 214, with Josh Tetley contributing 37. In reply, Hedge Top were going well at 110-1 before a flurry of wickets left them in trouble on 156-5 but they knocked the runs off with no further loss.
Cullingworth are sitting pretty in second place of Division One after an emphatic win at home to Great Horton Park Chapel.
Ben Burkill top-scored with 92 while Will Rankin (49) and Phil Poole (42no) also weighed in as the hosts totalled 259-5.
The visitors fell well short in reply, slumping to 107 all out as Poole (3-20) and Dave Robinson (3-15) were in the wickets.
