ALL Rounder Cricket Bradford Premier League Championship Division One leaders Scholes maintained their 100 per cent record with a ten-wicket win at Ossett - their ninth straight victory.

Gareth Lee (4-29) and Andrew Robinson (3-24) helped Scholes bowl out the home side for 156 before openers Shoukat Ali and Sam Gatenby made light work of the run chase.

They shared an unbroken stand of 160, with Ali scoring 83 not out and Gatenby 62 not out.

Second-placed Wrenthorpe piled up the division's highest score of the day of 330-5 as they defeated Gomersal by 43 runs.

Opener Jordan Sleightholme (75) got Wrenthorpe off to a good start which skipper Greg Wood capitalised on with a splendid 105.

Wood hit four sixes and 16 fours and was joined in a third-wicket alliance of 103 by Luke Patel (41).

James Glynn added to the suffering of the Gomersal bowlers with 55 from just 31 balls.

Gomersal didn't go down without a fight, however.

Richard Wear responded to Wood's innings by making 103, punctuating his innings with two sixes and 14 fours.

Joe Duffy (63) added 142 for the fifth wicket with Wear before Jack Seddon weighed in with a breezy 46 from just 18 balls.

Gomersal were finally dismissed for 287, with Glynn taking 5-66 and the experienced Chris Leaf 3-19.

Methley bounced back from their defeat by Wrenthorpe with a five-wicket win at Undercliffe.

Marcus Walmsley, batting in the middle order, made 53 and Jordan Laban 40 as Methley overhauled the home side's score of 212.

Opener Billy Whitford (78) and Michael Kelsey (62) were their top scorers as Sohail Raz (4-35) proved to be Methley's best bowler.

Spinner Dave Nebard took 5-39 and skipper Oliver Halliday 3-23 as Morley dismissed Bankfoot for 173 to secure a 57-run win.

Bankfoot looked to be going well in reply to Morley's 230-7 until skipper James Lee (40) and Aqib Ayub (37) fell in quick succession.

Openers James McNichol (89) and Henry Rush (37) had given Morley's innings a good start before overseas player Sangeeth Cooray added an unbeaten 51.

Bowling Old Lane's Bilal Ijaz just missed out on a century in his side's 93-run win over Yeadon.

Ijaz was unbeaten on 98 when Old Lane's innings ended on 244-8.

Spinner Mohammad Altaf took 3-28 for Yeadon, who were bowled out for 151.

Steve Simpson top-scored with 48 as Ismail Nazir (4-21) and Arslan Ijaz (3-35) sealed Old Lane's win.

Birstall remain rooted to the bottom after suffering a seven-wicket defeat against Baildon.

They were bowled out for 125, with only Eric Austin (44) making an impression as Waqas Maqsood (3-24) and Jamie Abbott (3-9) got to work.

Baildon made light work of the run chase, reaching their target in 27.3 overs, with skipper Simon Bailey unbeaten on 58 and Jonny Reynolds likewise on 37.
