WASPS won a goal thriller at Thackley as Jake Illingworth scored a double hat-trick.
Thackley scored first but Oakworth were soon on top with three from Illingworth, his second a spectacular overhead kick. Thackley recovered and added two goals to make it 3-3 at half-time. The second half was end-to-end with two goals from each side with another two from Illingworth.
With the score 5-5, Wasps took charge with yet another from Illingworth and two from Tyler Green, the first a block-buster and the second from a corner touched in by the goalkeeper.
Illingworth and Kieran Hall claimed man of the match awards.
Victory made up for a 5-1 loss to Nab Wood under-18s, Luke Tscherniga scoring the only goal.
