ALTHOUGH the results have yet to be officially ratified, it seems certain that Denholme's Olivia Brooksbank has won the Girls' B Class British Trials Championship.
The 14-year-old has a 24-point advantage over her nearest rival, with the final event this weekend at Holloway, south of Mansfield, being surprisingly cancelled.
Silsden's Gabby Whitham is fourth in the adult class, and the 16-year-old's placing should also stand.
Beth Dunning, from Crossflatts, could win the Ladies' Inter Championship if the traditional
tie-break rule is applied by virtue of winning the last event in the series.
