DENHOLME failed to gain revenge at Barrowford for last year's Wynn Cup final heartbreak as they slumped to a miserable defeat in Division One of the Craven & District Cricket League.

The away side were side were dismissed for just 69 and Barrowford cruised to victory by nine wickets.

Mohammad Adil posted 91 as Bingley Congs beat Embsay by 35 runs. Elliott Stockton took 4-23 for Embsay but Harry Greenhalgh's 5-31 ensured that Bingley won convincingly.

Haworth Road fell by 28 runs at home to Oakworth. The visitors made 175-9 with Ben Howell (51) the main contributor as Mansha Khan finished with 5-35.

Kristian Hargreaves scored a battling 48 in reply but Oakworth always had the game under control.

Haworth were too strong for Hepworth & Idle. They rattled up 152-9 in their overs and Hepworth & Idle were never in the hunt despite a strong batting performance from the tail. Rowell (4-17) and Stephen Bell (4-26) starred in the bowling department.

Crossflatts travelled to newly-promoted Ingrow. The Rhysworth Park side closed on a disappointing 121 with Jake Hoyle (3-19) and Will Rankin (3-36) bowling well.

However, the Hainworth side were in total disarray in their reply and slumped to 52 all out thanks to Naveed Hussain's stunning 6-18.

The other promoted side, Wilsden, struggled too. The Windy Grove side could only muster 68-9 as Richard Walker (5-32) and James Mcdonald (4-23) did all the damage. Visitors Sutton cruised home as Chris Barrett made 28.

Eldwick & Gilstead and Cowling are the early leaders of Division Two. The former entertained Cononley, who made 144 thanks to Herbie Starkey's 74.

Bhushan Deasai took 3-2 in the innings and the home side encountered few problems as they sauntered home by seven wickets. Ajeet Singh (72) was the star performer.

Cowling dismissed Bradford & Bingley III for 84 at The Coliseum as Ajmal Choudhry (4-10) and Josh Gill (4-14) ran riot. Sikandar Khan (50no) led the home side to the spoils by nine wickets.

Airedale were too strong for Gargrave, winning by eight wickets. Scott Ritchie took 4-31 as the Skipton Road side only managed 113. Matthew Cox (54no) ensured there were no problems taking the points.

Glusburn were bundled out for 64 as they were crushed by Haworth Road II, with Muzamal Ali taking 3-1. Charlie Hainsworth earlier scored a fine 102no in his side's 248-4.

Long Lee only scored 114 at Golden View and Hasnat Bukhari (85no) smashed eight sixes for visitors Sandy Lane to see his side home by four wickets.

Skipton CI are top of Division Three after beating Crossflatts II by 31 runs at Rhysworth Park. Embsay II are just behind them on run rate following their convincing 97-run victory.

Haworth and Riddlesden also won easily, but Bradley slipped to a crushing 105-run defeat against Barrowford II.

Silsden are the early leaders of Division Four. Hugh Sugden smashed 96 to help them to 277-4 before Kieran Lawrence routed Glusburn II for 48, taking extraordinary figures of 8-9.
