RICHARD Gould, one of the league's all-time top run-scorers, helped Keighley to a six-wicket win over Liversedge which took them to the top of the Championship Two table.

Gould made 59 as his side eased past a disappointing Liversedge total of 125. Sameer Farroq (39) offered the only real resistance to Paul Quinlan (4-16) and Ben Jagger (3-32).

Ian Carradice won the award for the day's unluckiest player. The Birstall batsman was dismissed for 99 after rescuing his side from 11-5 in their 49-run win over Hopton Mills.

Carradice hit two sixes and 15 fours before being dismissed by Michael Carroll (3-39). The pick of the bowlers was Umar Abbas (5-45).

Hopton Mills were soon in trouble as Josh Haynes (5-52) and Paul Gregorson (3-12) bowled them out for 98.

Carlton recorded their first win after chasing down a Northowram Fields score of 225 to win by two wickets. Daniel White (65) and Armaan Hussain (37) led the way. Louis Cockburn (83) top-scored for Northowram Fields while Scott Douglas (4-71) was Carlton's most-successful bowler.

Wakefield St Michael's moved up to second place after their comfortable six-wicket win over a Spen Victoria side now propping up the table.

Junaid Delair (4-29) and Alex Mumford (4-42) helped bowl out the home side for 143 despite a contribution of 40 from Tosh Baker and Ollie Davison (36).

St Michael's eased to their target with Ajay Seedat (36no), James Cooper (36no) and Alex Leyshon (35) leading the way.

Altofts recorded their first win of the season when they edged home by two wickets against East Ardsley. Craig Wood was the star of the show with both bat and ball.

He took 5-28 as East Ardsley were dismissed for 129 and made 56 as Altofts reached their victory target.

Ben Platt hit a century for Buttershaw St Paul's but ended up on the losing side. Platt's 105 helped the Saints to 214 all out, but Old Lane overhauled their score with nine wickets down.

Platt hit a six and 15 fours and was joined in a rousing ninth-wicket stand of 134 by Pritesh Mistry. The Saints number 10 smashed a six and 10 fours while making 59. Arsalan Ijaz (3-34) and Zeeshan Haider (3-64) were the pick of the Old Lane bowlers.

Skipper Farakh Hussain (36) gave the Old Lane innings a good launch but it was Ahsan Butt (86no) who got them to their target despite the efforts of Amer Ayoub (5-63).
