Arslan Mahmood (45) continued the good work before Old Lane lost their last eight wickets for 35 runs to be all out for 268, with Liversedge skipper Graham Winn (5-54) sparking the slump.

Birstall's Peter Gregorsen took a hat-trick to round off his side's 49-run win over Buttershaw St Paul's in a low-scoring encounter..

Gregorsen claimed the last three wickets as St Paul's were bowled out for just 58.

The chief destroyer was left-armer Josh Haynes (6-36).

The good work of Haynes and Gregorsen enabled Birstall to defend their score of 107 as their batsmen struggled against the bowling of Amer Ayoub (5-25).
