NATIONAL League North side Bradford Park Avenue will visit Silsden as part of the club's pre-season friendly programme.

Mark Bower's side, who were beaten in the play-offs this season, will be at the Cobbydale Construction Stadium on Thursday, July 5.

Colne also visit in the same week after a strong season in the Evo Stik North Division, narrowly missing out on the play-offs.

The Cobbydalers then travel to Toolstation North Counties East League Division One outfit Emley, before welcoming Evo Stik Premier newcomers Hyde United.

Campion will be the visitors before a busy week which sees us face a young Halifax Town team lead by former player Mark Trueman, Ilkley Town and also Carlisle City who will make the trip down to Silsden.

Meanwhile, Silsden held their end-of-season awards. The winners were: Cobbydaler of the year: Danny Forrest; player of the year and committee player of the year: Matty Moses; Fans' player of the season: Sammy Lee; Players' player of the season: Josh Kaine; goal of the season; Kyle Hancock v Chester Le Street (away) and young player of the season: Mark Everingham.
