CIROC got back to winning ways to retain top spot in Division One in the Bradford & District Evening League.

They posted a four-wicket success over title rivals Crossflatts at the Karmand Centre.

Second-placed Crossflatts made a modest 106-7, with Bradford & Bingley's Kyme Tahirkeli taking 3-22.

Ciroc passed their target for the loss of six wickets with four overs to spare, thanks mainly to Hamzah Iqbal's 50 not out, despite the best efforts of Jibrael Hussain (3-14).

Greenfield moved menacingly into third spot as they came out on top in a 346-run fest at Shelf.

Greenfield amassed 185-3 from just 16 overs, with contributions from Danish Hussain (52no) and Adeel Ahmed (47).

Undaunted, Shelf managed 161-5 in reply, with Asad Abbas scoring 49 and Younis Bismillah 26.

John Breare moved up to fourth with a seven-wicket victory over ten-man Thornton, who slipped to the basement following this setback.

Batting first at Westfield Lane, Thornton could only manage a below-par 66, with veteran Bob Hodson taking 3-15 and being well supported by youngster Tom Westerman (3-8).

John Breare easily reached their target for the loss of just three wickets (Ceiran Garner 24no, Tin Pryce 22), with six overs to spare.

Raja's moved off the foot of the table at the expense of Denholme, who now occupy the other relegation spot. Denholme were restricted to 92-8 from their 16 overs (Tom Watson 24, Toby Priestley 22) thanks to some tight bowling from Raja's, led by skipper Mohammad Altaf's 3-20.

Mohsin Shezad (39) made sure of the points as Raja's secured victory on 96-5 with four overs to spare.

In Division Two, Bradford League outfit Undercliffe retained top spot and their 100 per cent record as they inflicted the first defeat of the season on fellow new boys Ingrow at Hainworth Lane.

Fahid Rehman (50no) and Michael Kelsey (41no) helped Undercliffe to an impressive 144-4.

In reply, Ingrow fell well short as they were all out for 73, with Adam Frost the pick of the Undercliffe bowlers with 3-16.

Top scorers of the day, however, were Buttershaw St Paul's, who rattled up 192-5 from their 16 overs at Bradshaw, with Elliot Richardson top scoring with 55 not out.

Bradshaw made a spirited reply as Piers Fisher (50no) helped them to 142-4.

Baildon's hard-hitting overseas Blair Oakley notched up his third consecutive retirement (50no) to help Great Horton Park Chapel to 112-5 in a low-scoring contest at Sunnybank.

Oakley then capped a fine individual performance by taking 5-8, leaving newcomers Muff Field on 69-8 and still seeking their first Evening League victory.

Azeems did break that duck with a four-wicket success at their Riddlesden home over Cross Roads & Daisy Hill. They bowled out their Windhill opponents for 78, despite a defiant 40 from Matty Marshall as Mohammad Naveed took 3-11.

In reply, Owen Wilson (3-11) made sure that they didn't have it all their own way as they had to work hard for victory, which was eventually achieved as they ended on 82-6, thanks to Shokat Ali (29) and Waheed Ahmed (24), with 3.3 overs to spare.
