KEIGHLEY have won through to their first All Rounder Cricket Bradford Premier League T20 final,

They notched a crushing eight-wicket win over Carlton in a Group A semi-final of the JW Lees Brewery-backed Twenty/20 Cup and will meet Conference Division leaders Jer Lane in the final at Hanging Heaton on Sunday, July 15.

The match against Carlton was reduced to 15 overs due to a delayed start, and Carlton won the toss and chose to bat.

However, they found it difficult to get any partnership going thanks to some excellent tight bowling and good fielding, and just as it seemed they would start to post a challenging score a wicket would fall.

In the end they finished on 100-5, with the wickets being shared between five bowlers, although skipper Louis Horsfield grabbed the fielding limelight with four catches.

Keighley's reply got off to a quick start, with wicket-keeper Adam Smith smashing 15 from nine deliveries.

His dismissal did not dampen their enthusiasm, however, and quickfire not outs from Nathan Storton (40 from 34 balls) and Adam Greenwood (23 from 20) took Keighley over the line with 12 deliveries to go.

Jer Lane beat Adwalton in the other semi-final.
