IN Division Three of the Mewies Craven Cricket League, Riddlesden continue at the summit after blasting a mammoth 364-7 at Hepworth & Idle II, as Akeel Rashid top scored with 81.

The hosts capitulated for 98 as Mohammad Shahnawaz (5-47) and Mohammad Qadeer (4-43) shared the wickets.

Second-placed Bingley Congs II played well at Thornton. They made 160-7, with Ryan Baines scoring 39 and Phil Oldfield taking 3-47. Thornton then slumped to 69 all out as Mike Baines claimed 4-6.

Mick Brooksbank (86) and Bryan Freimanis (82) helped Crossflatts II to 237-4. Visitors Haworth II replied with 206-6, led by Anthony Haigh (54), as Charlotte Boulton took 3-31.

George Blackwell (48) saw Sutton II to 156-7, with Stephen Speak taking 4-33. Visitors Embsay II got home by five wickets with Robbie Smith (47no) leading the way.

Oakworth II had a 26-run victory in a high-scoring game against Bradley. Under-15 Bilal Khan (78no) and Jordan Powell (81) put on 123 together after young opener Bradley Powell made 58.

The visitors had a fair crack at overtaking the hosts' mammoth 301-4. They made 275-6, with U18 George Bell making 90 and U14 Toby Newell 42no.

Division Four leaders Silsden had difficulties at Skipton CI II. The nine-man hosts battled to 92-8 with Jon Sharpe making 41, as Joe Sugden took 5-43.

Silsden lost six wickets reaching their target. Rob Jones (36) was the main contributor as Matt Ryder took 3-7.

Bingley Congs III travelled to Chatburn II and their opponents smashed 251-6. The visitors replied with 135 of which Graeme Love hit a fine 81. Meanwhile, Foulridge II entertained Wilsden II and trounced them by nine wickets.

Zahid Shafait (81) and Shahid Khokhar (73) helped hosts Cowling II amass 284-5. Visitors Glusburn II closed on 98-9 with Khokhar taking 3-14.

Josh Coppack took 3-5 as Bradley II staggered to 92-9. Visitors Airedale cruised home by nine wickets with Tim Crossley (32) and Trevor Cox (30no) doing the business with the bat.

Cononley II only mustered 117 at home to Denholme II and they were comfortably beaten by seven wickets.

Long Lee II lost by 22 runs at home to Ingrow II. Luis Spragg (41) helped the hosts to 130 as Aaron Price took incredible figures of 7-9. This was in reply to Ingrow's 152-9, of which Ben Pusey made 66, as Phillip Atkinson claimed 5-24.

Finally, the oldest player in the league, 79-year-old Russ Nixon, top-scored with 25 as Gargrave II scored 89-9 in defeat to Oakworth III. 13-year-old Charlie Raby took a brilliant 5-25 for the victors.
