CIROC and Greenfield, who continue to set the pace in Division One of the Bradford & District Evening League, meet tonight in what could be an early title decider.

However, home advantage won't be an issue as they share the ground at the Karmand Centre!

Ciroc had a nine-wicket victory last time out over John Breare, who now occupy one of the relegation spots with Thornton.

The title chasers skittled the Westfield Laners for just 71 in 15.2 overs, with Tom Westerman top-scoring with 24 and Amir Hussain taking 3-10.

The leaders then took just 12.3 overs overs to reach 75-1, with Shaban Raheem scoring 27 not out.

Greenfield strengthened their grip on second, just one point behind Ciroc, as they emphatically overcame close rivals Crossflatts by 64 runs.

Batting first at Ryshworth Park, the visitors set a par score of 129 (Sajad Ali 34, Sohail Khan 34) as former Yorkshire paceman Moin Ashraf took 4-21.

Sajad Ali then completed a fine all-round performance by taking 4-11 as he and Mohammed Nadeem (3-15) blitzed Flatts for 65 with three overs to spare.

Raja's took full advantage of Flatts' demise as they slipped almost unnoticed into third, just one win behind Greenfield.

In a low-scoring affair at Westwood Park, Mohammed Amraiz (3-7) helped them dismiss visitors Shelf for just 72 from their full allocation of 18 overs, but the home side didn't have it all their own way as Shelf took six wickets before Raja's finally passed their target, with Shahid Hussain top-scoring with 21.

Meanwhile, Denholme pulled a little further away from the relegation zone with an eight-wicket home victory over local rivals Thornton, who now occupy bottom spot.

Thornton clawed their way to 82-8 from their 16 overs in the face of Denholme's fine bowling attack as Paul Quinlan took 3-15 and youngster Matthew Wear 3-17.

Opener Micky Hutchins (34) and skipper Richie Wear (28no) then steered the home side to victory in double quick time off just 9.2 overs.

In Division Two, Bradford League outfit Undercliffe continued their relentless march towards the title as they retained their four-point lead at the top with a 41-run success at Windhill against Cross Roads & Daisy Hill, despite having only nine men!

Overseas Khalid Usman (54no), supported by Gully Ahmed (28) and Adam Frost (26), helped the Intake Road side to a healthy 146-4.

Ahmed then went to work with the ball as his 3-10 helped bowl the home side out for just 105.

The performance of the day, however, came from Buttershaw St Paul's, who retained second spot on 11 points in a runfest at home to Great Horton Park Chapel as the sides shared 358 runs, containing 37 fours and 18 sixes.

The Ewart Street side's must have thought their first innings total of 178-5 (Matthew Jordan 50no, Blair Oakley 45, Darren Wilson 24) was more than enough for victory, even though it came from 18 overs.

However, the Buttershaw batsmen had other ideas as Simon McDermott (50no) and Jordan Laban (43) put on 98 for the first wicket, and a late flourish from Woodlands' Elliot Richardson (41no) saw them home on 180-4.

Halifax side Bradshaw moved into third spot on 10 points without even playing as Ingrow had to concede due to the unavailability of players.

Meanwhile, perennial triers Muff Field continue to search for their first Evening League win.

They managed to bat for their full 16 overs but their 77-7 (Mohammed Bismillah 35no, Ibrahim Bismillah 31) proved insufficient to trouble fellow new boys Azeems at their Riddlesden home,

The latter won by nine wickets as they finished on 79-1 (Adam Khan 35, Zulfiqar Ali 27no) with 5.1 overs to spare.
