YOUNG gun Ollie Bishop put in a heavenly performance as high-flying Barrowford were shocked at Haworth in Division One of the Mewies Craven Cricket League.

The Under-15 player took extraordinary figures of 5-10 for the hosts as their opponents struggled to just 123. Bishop finished on 13 not out, to go with Peter Gower's 41, as Haworth eased to a four-wicket win.

Hepworth & Idle visited Denholme. but could only post a meagre 69, as extras top scored with 19. Matt Wear took 6-30 and Ryan Judson 4-24. The home side dashed to a nine-wicket win in just nine overs.

Leaders Bingley Congs lost to Oakworth in a tense encounter. They were dismissed for 98, with Matt Roberts (25) top scoring as Ellis Marshall (3-12) and Jack Ellis (3-60) took the bowling honours.

Oakworth soon found themselves 13-4 before Lewis Wrathall (36no) and Robert Hollingsworth (29) set up an exciting finish, which saw them win by two wickets. Congs stay top and Oakworth move into second.

An early start at Ryshworth Park saw visitors Wilsden bat first and post 155. Sam Mitchell (46) and Gareth Wright (33no) were the best batters as Wasim Hussain took 5-39.

Crossflatts the proceeded to gallop to a fine seven-wicket victory, led by Joe Greenwood (57) and Dom Bennett (51). Greenwood's innings lasted just 26 balls and included seven fours and three sixes.

Meanwhile, Ingrow conceded to Sutton.

Division Two leaders Cowling travelled to Sandy Lane and routed their opponents for just 80. Josh Gill took extraordinary figures of 8-39 and his side, led by Mohammed Shah Usman (34no), won easily by six wickets.

Cononley won a gripping contest against visitors Airedale by just five runs. The hosts went first and posted 208-7 with Cameron Knowles hitting 92 and Andrew Starkey 41.

Airedale were dismissed for 203 in reply. Mathew Cox (109) was in the runs again and with Chris Gill (48), he put on 107 for the second wicket. On the bowling front, Lewie Fitton (5-51) and Tom Feather (3-34) saw their side to a narrow win.

A depleted Bradford & Bingley III side performed well at home to Long Lee. They were restricted to 110 with Rick Foulder (22) top scoring as Shahbaz Ahmed took 3-35.

The visitors were made to fight hard for the points, losing seven wickets as Irfan Ul-Haque claimed 3-37, but Matt Stowell hit 49 to see them home.

Gargrave entertained Eldwick & Gilstead and sent them packing with a 85-run defeat. Matt Beckwith (36) and Chris Lambert (32) helped the hosts to 170 with Arnie Raistrick (3-38) being the pick of the bowlers.

Will Smith's 4-10 and Joe Wood's 3-31 ensured the visitors were back in the hut for just 85 all out. Finally, Foulridge remain in second place after their opponents Glusburn conceded.
