CAMPION emphatically earned the bragging rights at Thackley in a pre-season derby.

The visitors triumphed 5-0 via goals from Talent Ndlovu (2), both in the first half, followed by second-half efforts from Alex Cusack (49th minute), Omarian Torres (56) and Chris Ovington, with the latter slipping the offside trap five minutes from time.

Eccleshill United were also winners, christening their new home kit with a single-goal victory over Parkgate.

Jonny Irving headed the only goal in the 57th minute following a superb cross by Luke Harrop, just a minute after Parkgate's keeper had made a superb triple save.

Harrop then rattled the crossbar with a superb lob in the 72nd minute.

Farsley Celtic went down 2-0 at home to the newly-merged Ossett United.

Former Celt Adam Priestley had a header cleared off the line from the game's first corner in the fifth minute, while Farsley skipper Paul Walker was only denied when keeper Leigh Overton pushed his shot onto the bar in the 21st minute.

Shiraz Khan put United ahead in the 37th minute with a delightful curler, and George Grayson got the second in the 59th minute, twisting and turning in the box before firing into the corner.

Liversedge went down 2-0 to Newton Aycliffe at West Riding County FA headquarters in Woodlesford, conceding in the 19th and 76th minutes, although Piteu Crouz had a great chance to pull a goal back in the 90th minute.

Carlisle City crossed off from their game at Silsden due to "unforeseen circumstances".
