A TEAM from Team TSX in Keighley came away from the British University Taekwondo League Championship with a medal haul.

Laura Alderson, 38 from Haworth, won a bronze in patterns.

Mikey Hawksworth, 37 from Silsden, won a silver in sparring and a bronze in patterns.

Serena Miller, 16 from Keighley, also won a silver in sparring and a silver in patterns.

Guest of honours at the event, held on Saturday, were masters and grands masters, world champions, Olympic torch bearer and first grand master Rhee, who founded taekwondo in England in 1967.

This year's championship was a day that has gone down in history bringing all taekwondo clubs from all over the UK together for the first time to compete for honours.
