AS expected, Ciroc retained their Bradford & District Evening League Division One title with a game to spare.

They beat Shelf at fortress Karmand Centre, where they have remained unbeaten all season, with only Denholme managing to come away with any points in a tied game.

Shelf managed to post a competitive 132-5 from 16 overs as Saltaire's overseas Zahid Nissar hit 51 not out and Abu Baker Dawood 41, with Amir Hussain taking 3-35.

In reply, the home side comfortably reached their target as they finished on 135-5 (Hamza Iqbal 51no, Adal Islam 46) with 2.2 overs to spare, despite Mamoon Rashid returning outstanding figures of 3-9.

Greenfield confirmed their Division One runners-up spot, and a place in the end of season finals day play-offs, with a victory at faltering Denholme.

Jibrail Malik (52no) and Danish Hussain (40) repaired the damage caused by the loss of two early wickets as Greenfield ended on 120-7, with spinner Andy Wear (3-32) being the pick of the Denholme bowlers.

Opening the innings, skipper Richard Wear carried his bat for 38, but no-one else was able to support him as the hosts were bowled out for 95 off the final ball of the innings.

In-form John Breare recorded their fifth victory on the bounce as they ended Crossflatts' hopes of wrestling the final play-off berth from Greenfield, and now share third place with Flatts after a 25-run success at Ryshworth Park.

Alex West (32no) top-scored for Breare and, with support from Ben Waller (29), they posted a par score of 113-5 from their 16 overs.

At 70-4, Flatts looked on track to pass their target, but when opener Bilal Hamid was dismissed for 38, the home side capitulated to 90 all out with 1.2 overs remaining, with all the damage being done by Breare's trio of bowlers Jonny Robinson (4-23), Thomas Simpson (3-20) and Alex Robinson (3-10).

Raja's defeated relegated Thornton by eight wickets at their Westwood Park home.

Tim Shackleton (36) and Greg Soames (34) helped the visitors post 107-5, but Shoaib Zahid (46no) and Mohammad Amraiz (44) gave the home side victory with three overs to spare.

In Division Two, Bradford League outfits Undercliffe and Buttershaw St Paul's had already secured their places at the Finals Day, as well as promotion to Division One, but wins for both sides means that the championship will go to the final game of the season.

St Paul's will be hoping that Undercliffe come unstuck at home to Ingrow while they beat Bradshaw at St Paul's Avenue to take the title to a net run-rate calculation.

With a question mark over the fitness of Azeems' home ground at Riddlesden, the Keighley outfit's fixture against Undercliffe was switched to the leaders' Intake Road ground, where, still being classed as the away side, Undercliffe batted first and set their opponents 136-2 (Michael Kelsey 50no, Richard Skillicorn 43, Gully Ahmed 32).

Azeems battled hard but fell 22 runs short on 114-8 as Fahid Rehman took 3-19 and Naveed Mohammed top-scored with 30.

Buttershaw St Paul's' victory came slightly easier, courtesy of a concession by Ingrow, which could affect the outcome of the net run-rate calculation!

Great Horton Park Chapel moved into third spot as they try to build momentum for next year in what has been a mixed season for them.

Baildon's overseas player Blair Oakley continued his fine form with the bat with another retirement (55no) to help Park Chapel to 128-6 as Danny Halstead took 4-16 for home side Cross Roads & Daisy Hill at Busy Lane.

Nabil Khan (4-20) and Chris Tite (3-30) then went to work with the ball to leave the side from Windhill 27 runs short on 101-9.

Muff Field recovered from 4-3 to finally finish on 100-7 from their 16 overs, thanks to a 53-run fourth-wicket partnership between Mohammed Bismillah (42) and Aly Rashid (38) as Ricky Beaumont took 3-9 from four overs for home side Bradshaw.

Matthew Crowther (42) and Mohammed Yousaf (24) saw the Halifax outfit home on 102-6 with 4.2 overs to spare, despite the best efforts of Alex Pearson (3-24).

Tonight's fixtures (rescheduled from July 11) are – Division One: Crossflatts v Ciroc, Denholme v Raja's, Greenfield v Shelf, Thornton v John Breare. Division Two: Buttershaw St Paul's v Bradshaw, Cross Roads & Daisy Hill v Azeems, Great Horton Park Chapel v Muff Field, Undercliffe v Ingrow.
