RIDDLESDEN were surprisingly under the cosh against Skipton CI, being dismissed for just 98 in Division Three of the Mewies Craven Cricket League.

Mick Cryer made 26 not out but he received no support, and in reply, their opponents cruised home by nine wickets.

Leaders Barrowford II went down by 11 runs at Bingley Congs II. Jamie Teale made 51 to help the hosts to post 158.

Then, Steve Broughton (3-41) Jonny Teale (3-49) and Michael Baines (3-50) dismissed the Bull Holme side for 147. Congs are now level with Riddlesden on points but are fourth on run rate.

Crossflatts II are also level with Riddlesden and are in third spot. They posted 211-5 at Sutton II with Brian Freimanis making 50no.

In reply, Tony Walton made 62 of his side's paltry 123. Freimanis finished with 4-28 and Vijay Amirtharaj 3-8.

10-man Haworth II struggled to 122-7 at home to Oakworth II as Matty Lee took 3-21. The visitors galloped home by nine wickets with Under-15 Bradley Powell scoring a magnificent 80.

Nine-man Embsay II only mustered 144 at Bradley as George Bell claimed 3-27 and Dan Hunt (75) saw the hosts home by six wickets.

Chatburn are now six points clear in Division Four after crushing Cowling II by nine wickets and Silsden losing by three wickets at Denholme. The latter drop to third after Foulridge II beat Bingley Congs III.

Cowling II crumpled to 71 with Steve Dalby (25) top scoring in their thumping by the leaders, while Silsden made 175-9 against Denholme with Jack Roberts (33) top scoring as Tim Shires claimed 3-22.

Ryan Clark (60no) was the backbone of the successful reply as Andy Pullen took 3-24.

Foulridge II walloped Bingley Congs III by 10 wickets. Congs were dismissed for 65 and it took their opponents no time to knock off the runs.

Eight-man Long Lee II were skittled for 48 at Airedale II as Josh Coppack claimed 4-13. Adam Madgett (38no) top scored as the hosts galloped to a 10-wicket victory in just seven overs.

Gargrave II made 199 as James Nowell (5-21) and Paul Hogg (4-39) shared the wickets for Cononley II, but they only replied with 130 and lost by 69 runs.

Finally, there were three concessions in the division with Glusburn II conceding to Bradley II, Wilsden II to Ingrow II and Oakworth III to Skipton CI II.
