STEETON took the lead on six minutes. A long ball over the top from goalkeeper Brad Picken was chased down by Lewis Gardner who challenged bravely with the Bingley goalkeeper looping a header over him into the net.

Steeton doubled their lead on 13 minutes. Harris Khan won the ball in defence and played a pass into midfield, some lovely inter play from Barney, Lewis Gardner and Ciaran finished with a through ball to Ben Sharp, he rounded the goalkeeper and from a tight angle played the ball into the box for Lewis Plumb to smash home.

Their third goals was worth the wait on 21 minutes. Lewis Gardner tried his luck from 30 yards out, with his left foot he sent a tremendous strike over the Bingley goalkeeper for his second.

Steeton continued to create numerous chances for the rest of the half.

The second period started the same as the first. Ben Sharp made it 4-0. He collected the ball just in the Bingley half and with a powerful run beat the defence before crashing the ball past the Bingley goalkeeper into the corner of the net.

Following the goal celebrations from this goal there was an altercation between a Bingley player and Steeton player resulting in the Bingley man being sent off.

On the 70th minute Bingley did get a goal back following a through ball to Bez Gojanz, who beat the Steeton defence before slotting the ball past the Steeton number one Brad Picken.

Steeton nearly added a fifth in the closing minutes when Jacob Ambler struck a 25-yard half-volley against the crossbar which had the Bingley goalkeeper beaten.
