STEETON backed up reaching a second successive Waddilove Cup final last weekend by romping to a quickfire eight-wicket win over Follifoot on Saturday.
The Aire-Wharfe League Division Two clash at Summerhill Lane was affected by rain, with the visitors posting 76-5 from 20.2 overs.
Steeton’s Ben Hemsley kept the away side in check, taking 4-31.
The hosts responded in rapid fashion, and with opener Adam Smith striking 48 from 32 balls, Steeton passed their revised total of 84 inside 10 overs.
Steeton now have a 20-point buffer in the second and final promotion spot.
Harden produced a stunningly one-sided win at North Leeds in Division Three.
Wicket-keeper William Grace (113) and skipper Andy Wear (102) both struck centuries as the visitors racked up a mammoth total of 337-8.
Matthew Hogg took over thereafter, the Harden opening bowler recording sensational figures of 8-41 as North Leeds were rolled out for 85.
The emphatic victory takes Harden top of the league, as they look to immediately bounce back to Division Two following relegation.
