KEIGHLEY Cougars are losing Sadiq Adebiyi to a one-game ban, but it remains to be seen as to which game he will miss out on, and in which division.
The forward has been charged with a Grade C Dangerous Throw, which occurred 30 minutes into Cougars’ heartbreaking 23-22 defeat at home to Halifax Panthers last Sunday.
This was due to him lifting his opponent into a dangerous position, according to the RFL’s charge sheet.
But the Nigerian international is free to play in Keighley’s final day game at London Broncos this weekend.
Newcastle are already down, and will be joined by one of Barrow, Whitehaven, Keighley or Swinton, in dropping into League 1 for next season.
