Silsden 0 Colne 4
Andrew Tinker’s hat-trick put the skids under Silsden at the Asda Foundation Stadium in last week’s local derby.
The home side struggled to contend with the windy conditions and suffered another disappointing defeat.
Danny Boyle scored the first goal on an evening when the visitors capitalised on some errors by the home side.
There were some positives for the Cobbydalers, notably the contribution of Trickett.
One had to feel sorry for Alex Mugan and James Nettleton, who were punished for rare errors.
Both, along with keeper Chris Thompson, have kept the Cobby-dalers in many a game when the midfield has been over-run and the forwards have failed to deliver.
