Gabby clinches national title
Silsden’s Gabby Whitham is a national champion.
She won the Horsforth Motor Club round of the British Ladies’ and Girls’ Championship last Sunday to win the Class C Cham-pionship. It was the fifth time the schoolgirl had won in six rounds.
Her elder sister Danielle did not compete due to injury, Isle of Wight multi champion Becky Cook winning the day for Beta UK in a final-section effort.
Meanwhile, Cullingworth’s Robin and Sam Luscombe have taken a major step towards winning their 14th British Sidecar Trials Champion-ship.
They came a secure second in Yeadon-Guiseley MC’s Luscombe Suzuki Leeds Mel Harrison Trophy Trial on Sunday at Pateley Bridge.
