Last season’s top scorer Joe Gaughan has left Silsden.

The former Bradford City junior has signed for Northern Counties East League Premier Division neighbours Brighouse Town.

Gaughan, aged 18, joined the Cobbydalers from Rotherham United.

He had scored four goals for Silsden this season, including a hat-trick in his side’s recent 7-1 thrashing of St Helens Town.

Fellow Keighley players Joe Mitchell and James Sutcliffe are also at Brighouse.
