Guiseley will be looking to reclaim a place in the top five when they cross the Pennines tomorrow to take on Stalybridge Celtic.

A home draw against lowly Tamworth cost the Lions as they slipped out of the play-off places on Saturday. The Lions have had to settle for a point from three of their last four Vanarama Conference North fixtures.

On-loan forward Josh Wilson limped out of Saturday’s 2-2 draw after turning his ankle and was replaced just before the break. That was due to be the last game of his loan spell but Lions boss Mark Bower has been talking with the player's club FC Halifax Town hoping to get the loan extended.

A win against 11th-placed Celtic would see Guiseley break through the 20-point barrier for the season.

There are also big games for the area’s two clubs in the Evo-Stik Division One North.

Fourth-placed Farsley host struggling New Mills, who have lost six of their ten starts, with Neil Parsley's side just two points off second place with two games in hand.

Darlington 1883 are currently second and they visit Brighouse, who are looking to get over a 2-0 defeat at Lancaster City at the weekend and will need to be in tip-top form to upset Darlington.

Meanwhile, Silsden have been drawn away to Consett in the FA Vase first round proper on November 1. The Northern League side beat the Cobbydalers in the FA Cup earlier this season.
