Keighley Shamrocks u-12s 5 Silsden Dragons u-12s 1

Silsden couldn't match the Shamrocks in any department as the home side strolled to victory.

The Dragons were left wondering how the first goal went in and never recovered. The league's top marksman Ben Sharp doubled the lead soon after with a fine first-time strike and before long he had his hat-trick when the Silsden keeper couldn't deal with his long-range effort.

The visitors conceded another before half-time and it looked like being very long afternoon. However, Silsden grabbed a goal through Jack Muir, only for the Shamrocks to hit a fifth after another mistake at the back.

Horsforth u-18s 1 Oxenhope Rec u-18s 3

Oxenhope continued their purple patch in Division One of the Craven, Aire & Wharfe League with a convincing victory to complete the double over their opponents.

The visitors dominated from the start but the home side took the lead on the half-hour with their first attempt on goal. Minutes later Oxenhope equalised as Lewis Hopkinson drove to the bye line and crossed for Sam Murphy to head in.

Just before the break the visitors took the lead when a long ball down field was misjudged by the home keeper and Murphy capitalised. Ten minutes into the second period Oxenhope’s dominance was rewarded when a long throw-in was hooked home by Hopkinson.

Silsden Dragons u-10s 5 Dudley Hill Rangers u-10s 2

Silsden were quick to score with Lewis Gartland playing a long ball for Jaylan Camsey to calmly finish.

Fifteen minutes of exciting football followed as man of the match Joe Armitage whipped in a corner for Gartland to volley home.

Dudley Hill pulled a goal back after a crunching tackle left keeper Sam Brockbank injured. The following onslaught from Hill was thwarted with great defensive play from Lola Cunningham and Harry Whitaker, who pulled off a spectacular goal-line clearance, plus an amazing save by the injured Brockbank.

In the second half Daniel Barnes swung in a great corner for Gartland to score again before completing his hat-trick of volleys.

The closing minutes saw Sam Ayik steal a ball and sprint upfield to calmly finish before Dudley Hill claimed a late goal from a rebound.
