OXENHOPE will attempt to create club history on Saturday when they host fellow West Yorkshire League side Howden Clough at the Recreation Ground (1pm) for a place in the quarter-finals of the County Cup.
The Worth Valley side have never reached that stage of the competition before in their 102-year existence.
Meanwhile, the weather again thwarted Oxenhope Reserves in their attempt to get their West Riding County Trophy tie against Mount St Mary’s played last weekend.
Both clubs’ grounds were snowbound so they will attempt to play the game this Saturday at either location, which is yet to be confirmed.
Both Steeton’s sides had their matches postponed.
