Keighley Shamrocks Crusaders u-14s 5 Bingley Juniors u-14s A 1

TOM Ormerod opened the scoring for Keighley when he floated a ball from near the touchline into the far corner of the net.

Shammies continued to dominate and Harry Farnell burst into space before firing a low shot wide of the keeper to make it two. Next came a piece of magic from Ormerod as he drilled a free-kick from the halfway line which thundered over the diving goalkeeper for a memorable goal.

In the second half Jack Hanson did well to pounce on a fumble in the area before hooking it back to Farnell, who shot on the turn to score. Bingley then pulled one back with a quality strike.

The impressive Tom Broadbent drove forward time and again from deep in the midfield and linked up well with Keenan Potts to supply Dom Westcott. He obliged with a great snap-shot into the roof of the net to seal the win for Shammies.

Sutton Rascals u-15s 3 Silsden u-15s 0

In very windy conditions, Rascals made a strong start and were soon 1-0 up when Joe Smith crossed for Ben Clarkson to score in the corner.

Sutton missed several more chances before Clarkson got his second. The third goal came from a Toby Jeffery corner, which picked out Joe Smith to head home.

The second half saw Rascals continue to dominate and, had their passing been better in the final third, they would have won by more. Man of the match went to right back Dan Bradberry.
