Calverley u-15s 2 Sutton Rascals u-15s 5

SUTTON Rascals u-15s triumphed 5-2 at Calverley despite the visitors taking an early lead with a cross-cum shot.

Sutton equalised when Dan Bradberry combined with Toby Jeffery, who crossed the ball for Michael Bailey to score. Jeffery added a second goal with a strong run and shot.

Freddy Maddocks and Callum Walker worked hard in the midfield as Rascals got their third goal when Luke Mackleston's powerful header from a corner made it 3-1 at half-time.

Calverley pulled one back but this only spurred the Rascals as Ben Clarkson scored twice after outpacing the home defence. Man of the match went to Ewan Bailey, who kept Calverley's attackers at bay all game.
