Silsden u-18s 6 Long Lee u-18s 1

Incessant rain and a strong wind made playing conditions difficult, which worsened in the second half.

Facing the wind, Silsden went a goal down in the 12th minute to a fine strike from the edge of the box. Just before half-time concerted pressure brought the equaliser from a deflected shot by Jordan Stephens.

Danny Hunt put the Cobbydalers in front with a low drive on 55 minutes. A good shot from Andy Briggs was saved but substitute Lawrence Green dived in to head the rebound.

In the last 15 minutes Silsden were relentless as Hunt, Green and Sam Maude found the target.

Silsden adapted better to the conditions, with praise going to Kieran Pennington and Will Hibbert in the first half.
