Wharfedale Triangle Premier Division: Cullingworth Youth 2 Keighley Town 4

TEN-MAN Youth gave Keighley Town a real scare before the extra man ultimately paid dividends for the visitors.

Cullingworth started the match a man down yet, against the run of play, Joshua Ellison opened the scoring for them after ten minutes in what was his first game of the season.

Town had the better of the first-half exchanges and missed several chances before they levelled the scores.

Youth let them off the hook when they missed two sitters in five minutes but then took the lead again as Ellison scored his second with the best goal of the match.

Within three minutes Keighley had levelled the scores once more. Youth defended valiantly until the extra man finally told, Town scoring two goals to seal the points.

Leroy Hickman (2), Joe Drake and Michael Donohoe were the men on target for Town but great credit went to Youth for their battling display.

Town play host to Sky Bet in the League Cup on Sunday, while Youth welcome Keighley Athletic in the league.

Meanwhile, Keighley Athletic drew their third game on the trot as they shared the spoils 1-1 at home to Ilkley Dynamo.

Joe Brady equalised for a depleted Keighley side, who had gone 28 games without a draw before their recent sequence.
