Wharfedale Triangle League Cup final: Ilkley Dynamo 2 Keighley Town 2
(FT 2-2, Keighley won 3-1 on penalties)
KEIGHLEY Town finished their Wharfedale Triangle League season on a high, coming from 2-0 down at half-time to force the extra period and then win a penalty shoot-out 3-1.
James Gill and Leon Smith struck to make it 2-2 after 90 minutes but there were no further goals in extra-time.
Goalkeeper Stuart Devlin then took centre stage, saving the first three of Dynamo’s spot kicks, and four in all, while Town scored three from four.
This made it two cups wins in a week for Town after their 3-0 Keighley & District FA Sunday Cup triumph over Bingley, and they also finished second in the Premier Division to cap a fine season.
