CULLINGWORTH FC proved to be the penalty kings after they clinched the annual Tom Storton Memorial charity six-a-side tournament.

After finishing second in their qualifying group, they won three shoot-outs in the knockout stages to win the title at Silsden.

They beat Keighley Celtic in the final of the 20-team elite competition, held in memory of popular former local footballer Paul 'Tom' Storton.

Borussia Teeth held on to their veterans crown, beating Phoenix Vets in the final with a goal from Gavin Finn. Former Manchester United and Bradford City striker Graeme Tomlinson was among the Phoenix squad.

Finn earned himself the player of the veterans tournament, while Nivard Trowers (Keighley Celtic) took the prize in the main event. Ross Kelly was top scorer with seven goals.

The event was well attended and raised more than £2,000 for charity.
