POLONIA have gained revenge for their last league defeat in the Skipton Body Repair Centre Craven League Second Division.

Leaders Manningham All Stars defeated the Keighley side 5-2 on September 12 but since then Polonia have won six in the league and one in the Northern Plant Hire Trophy.

And that seventh triumph was a 5-3 home victory over All Stars last Saturday for the fourth-placed club.

Polonia scored twice in the first ten minutes via Damien Sweis and Maciej Zoltek, and they were 3-1 in front by half-time thanks to Lukasz Sarosinski.

The second half was shared but it still wasn't enough for All Stars to prevent their second league defeat of the season, Kamil Wisniewski and Mirdstaw Bak netting for Polonia, whose man of the match was again Daniel Trojan.

Oxenhope Recreation had a tough task in the First Division, losing 2-0 at second-placed Chatburn, but there was even less joy for Craven League sides in the West Riding County FA competitions.

Cononley Sports, who are bottom of the Premier Division, lost 17-0 at West Riding County Amateur League top-flight side Campion, Jordan Missin leading the goal rout with five.

Lee Smith and Gavin Armitage netted four each to add to others from Ben Kendall, Fabian Evans, Elliot Holmes and Matthew Warden.

Wilsden Athletic, who are seventh in the top flight, were handed home advantage but lost 3-1 to Littletown, also from the County Amateur League, the winners' goals coming from Lee McKeown (2) and Joe Jagger.

Littletown's pitch was ruled unfit on Saturday morning, so the match was switched to the 3G pitch at Marley Stadium.

Bradley, who are bottom of the First Division, came closest of the three clubs, going down 3-2 at West Yorkshire League side Ealandians.

* The postponed West Riding County FA Challenge Cup tie between Steeton and Horbury Town will be played on Saturday at Summerhill Lane.
