Cullingworth Youth 16 Armley Rangers 0
YOUTH manager Allan Feather was unable to attend this match due to illness but his players helped his recovery with the most emphatic of victories.
It was one-way traffic for most of the game, Cullingworth averaging a goal every five minutes in the first half to lead 9-0 at the interval. The hosts refused to take their foot off the gas in the second half as they added seven more.
Eighteen-year-old Sam Fox led the scoring with four, closely followed by man of the match Chris Mawson with three. Alex Tudhope, Harry Holmes and Jonathan Clewes grabbed a brace each and Dave Sanderson also notched, while Armley put two through their own net.
Youth are at home to Shipley RSV on Sunday, who they narrowly beat 2-1 in the League Cup.
* Keighley Town were kicking their heels again as their Premier Division match at home to Yeadon Veterans was a victim of the weather. They are at Crossflatts Village on Sunday for a crunch fixture.
Keighley Athletic enjoyed a 6-1 success at FC Cuedos.
