Wharfedale Triangle First Division: Cullingworth Youth 5 Saltaire Rangers 2

CULLINGWORTH completed the double over Rangers to go six points clear at the top after returning to action for the first time since December 20.

Youth had the better of the first half and opened the scoring through man of the match Andy Wayper in the 10th minute.

Four goals in a frantic end to the half saw Rangers twice equalise – once through a Youth own goal – only for the hosts to regain the advantage and lead 3-2 by the break as Kyle Fox and Jack Wayper found the target.

Youth's defenders dealt comfortably with Saltaire's counter-attacks after the break and the hosts added a further two goals without reply as Sam Fox and Johnathan Clewes netted.

On Sunday Youth are due to play Myrtle Park at Marley. If the pitch is unfit, the fixture could be reversed and played at Cullingworth's ground.

Premier Division: Keighley Town 3 Yeadon Vets 1

After a long lay-off due to adverse weather, Town continued their 100 per cent league record by beating Yeadon Vets thanks to a hat-trick from man of the match Leon Smith. Keighley are at Shipley Town on Sunday.
