SILSDEN Whitestar have put an end to Earby Town's revival in the Skipton Body Repair Centre Craven League.

The Premier Division visitors had won two and drawn one to climb off the bottom of the table but lost 3-1 at Keighley Road.

John Berry, Dan McNulty and substitute Sam Stanfield netted for the home side, who trailed 1-0 at half-time but turned it around to leave the likely relegation fight between Earby Town, Gargrave and Grindleton, who lost 8-1 at Wilsden Athletic.

Man of the match Dave McCarten (3), Robert Carberry, Joel Hardy, Ben Molloy, Joe Rae and James Halliday, who came off the bench, were on target for mid-table Wilsden, while Cross Hills Reserves slipped a place to seventh on the back of a 2-1 defeat at Grassington United.

In Division One, second-placed Cowling have followed a 3-1 loss at leaders Pendle Renegades with a 4-1 derby setback at Oxenhope Recreation, giving hope to chasers Sporting Keighley, Colne and even Rolls Reserves.

Andy Fox hit a hat-trick and a strike from young Matty Klava completed the scoring for Rec.

Luke Barker and Rory Entwistle were Cowling's marksmen, and Sporting Keighley gained an important 3-1 home win over Rolls' second string, Mohammed Ammer (2) and Sikander Shan scoring.

However, even more crucial could be the outcome of Sporting's derby at Ingrow & Worth Valley, which was abandoned after Leroy Hickman (Ingrow) and Simeon Brown (Sporting) were sent off.

It wasn't all joy for Oxenhope, however, as they also lost 6-0 at Colne, while Bradley's fare at the bottom is almost sealed after defeats at Bingley Town (3-2) and at home to Skipton Town (2-1).

Broomhill are looking good for promotion from Division Two after a 1-1 draw at home to rivals Polonia and a 3-1 home victory over Skipton Town Reserves, Andrew Tanner and Joe Slater sharing the four goals.

However, it is still tight, with Manningham All Stars, Polonia and Carleton also in the scrap, Polonia boosting their hopes with a 6-3 triumph at Cononley Sports Reserves, Maciej Zoltek (3), Lukasz Sarosinski and substitute Macilj Gawrydi being among the scorers.

There wasn't much joy in Division Three for Keighley area sides but Sutton drew 1-1 at Barnoldswick Barons, thanks to Aiden Robertson, and Cowling Reserves drew 3-3 at home to Bingley Town Reserves.
