THREE straight victories have put Sporting Keighley well in the picture for promotion from Division One of the Skipton Body Repair Centre Craven League.

They followed up their 3-1 home win over Rolls Reserves with a 4-2 success over Bingley Town and a 7-0 thrashing of basement side Bradley.

Shazad Khan (2), man of the match Habib Aslam and Alhassaine Keita were on target against Town, while Khan (4), Keita, Danyail Ahmed and Munzir Nazir found the net against Bradley.

There was disappointment, however, for Oxenhope Rec, who lost 2-1 at home to next-to-bottom Embsay, gong winner Paul Quinlan scoring for Rec.

Ingrow & Worth Valley gained a decent point in a 1-1 draw at AFC Colne, with man of the match Ryan Stubbs the visitors' marksman.

In Division Two, Broomhill were surprisingly held to a 1-1 draw by 11th-placed visitors Cross Hills Reserves, but the point was enough to maintain their leadership over Manningham All Stars, albeit only on goal difference, although the Keighley side do have a game in hand.

Substitute Michael Turner scored for Broomhill, with man of the match Jimmy Anson replying.

Carleton are the dangers to the top two, although they only saw off Cononley Sports Reserves 5-4, Chris Lumsden, Colin Throupe, Andrew Waite and substitute Craig Ebbrell bagging the goals for the losers.

All Stars then defeated eighth-placed Cononley 6-1, but Polonia's promotion chances all but disappeared in a remarkable 6-5 home defeat against Settle United Reserves, who led 3-1 at half-time.

Man of the match Mirdstaw Bak (2), Lukasz Sarosinki, Michal Skowron, Pizemyslaw Witch and Maciej Zoltek were Polonia's marksmen.

Sutton went down 5-1 at Bingley Town Reserves in Division Three, substitute Michael Ruddock getting the consolation, but earlier they had done their hopes of avoiding the wooden spoon a power of good with a 4-1 win at Broomhill Reserves.

Shaun Bell, Aiden Robertson, Jack Shaw and Nathan Todd were Sutton's marksmen, Simon Harris replying, while efforts from Liam Fothergill (2), Graham Whitaker and substitute David Harman were enough to give Ingrow & Worth Valley Reserves a 4-3 home win over Bingley Town Reserves.

The Steampigs' second string couldn't keep up their momentum, however, as they crashed 6-1 at home to Addingham, who had earlier defeated Cowling Reserves, for whom Sam Wedgwood scored.
