SPORTING Keighley, who finished the game with nine men after having two players dismissed inside an hour, went down 4-0 at home to Pendle Renegades in the Skipton Body Repair Centre Craven League Premier Division.

Harry Hussain and Sikander Khan got their marching orders but Sporting should not have been 2-0 down at the interval after spurning two good chances.

An error early in the second half gave Renegades the chance to make it 3-0, but the hosts only conceded one goal when they were depleted.

Shazad Khan was man of the match for Sporting, who are at Broomhill on Saturday in the first round of the Keighley & District FA Challenge Cup on Saturday (1.30pm).

Wilsden Athletic lost 11-1 at home to new leaders Rolls, taking their goals conceded column to 35 in 11 games, but 15 in the last two.

Silsden Whitestar Reserves, chasing a league double, are into the semi-finals of the Division Three Cup after a 3-0 victory at Settle United Thirds.

Goals came from Simon Cox, Jake Muir and Oliver Stephenson, and Whitestar will be at home to Bingley Juniors Reserves in the last four in a battle between teams placed second and third in the division.

Broomhill Reserves made the comeback of the week, recovering from 4-0 down at half-time to draw 4-4 at home to Barlick Wanderers in Division Three.

Mark Hardman, Michael Turner, Jake Ward and substitute Tom Narey scored as Broomhill hit back, the point they gained moving them up one spot to ninth.

Bradley Reserves are still rooted to the bottom, losing their latest game 6-2 at home to Horton, with Sam Baldwin getting one of the consolations.
