WITH Eccleshill being top of the league and Wasps with only nine players, this was always going to be a tough task for Oakworth.
They fought valiantly for the whole match and did well to keep the score to 6-1. This was in the main due to a fine display from goalkeeper Callum Rhodes, who received the man of the match award.
The other prize went to Matty Gill for his excellent defending. The only Wasps goal was a thunderbolt from striker Jake Illingworth.
