SPORTING Keighley have gained a valuable point in their fight against relegation from the Premier Division of the Skipton Body Repair Centre Craven League.

Thanks to goals by Simeon Brown and Mohammed Zubair, they drew 2-2 at sixth-placed Grassington United to move a point in front of Cross Hills, who are second from bottom.

Cowling, meanwhile, notched their 15th league win of the season in Division One.

The runaway leaders, inspired by Lee Barker, defeated seventh-placed Skipton Town 2-0 courtesy of goals by Luke Barker and Craig Gregory.

The match between fourth-placed Cononley Sports and third-placed Trawden Celtic Reserves was predictably close in Division Two.

Man of the match Chris Lumsden scored twice for Sports, with the other goal coming from Alan Brewer in a 3-3 draw.

Cowling Reserves' best player was Callum Lowe in their Division Three Cup quarter-final at Ilkley.

But he couldn't inspire his team to victory as they lost 2-0.

Broomhill Reserves have climbed a place to sixth in Division Three after a 2-0 victory at third-from-bottom Addingham.

Luke Thornton and substitute Michael Turner netted for the visitors, but there was no joy for Sutton, who went down 6-2 at home to Settle United B.
