SILSDEN survived two missed penalties to secure a valuable point at fourth-placed Charnock Richard in Hallmark Security League Division One last night.
Having had the better of the first half, the Cobbydalers were let off the hook when Spencer Bibby and Sam Parkinson failed from the spot on 56 and 77 minutes respectively.
Silsden also threatened after the break, hitting the bar, but were grateful to keeper Callum Jakovlevs for several good saves.
