SILSDEN Whitestar may have lost out to champions Settle United in the Craven League Premier Division title race.

However, they can still finish the season with a treble as they are already through to the Keighley & District FA Challenge Cup final and, in the Craven League, have a Northern Plant Hire Trophy quarter-final at home to Rolls.

In addition, they have reached the semi-finals of the Premier Division Cup, but had to hold their nerve before triumphing 7-6 in a penalty shoot-out at Grassington United.

Mateusz Tomas scored for Silsden in the first half and was also their man of the match.

They now play Trawden Celtic at Silsden on Saturday, April 29 (1.30), with Pendle Renegades awaiting the winners.

In Division One, two wins for Broomhill have lifted them from eighth to fifth, and they could even end the campaign in third.

They had a midweek walkover against bottom-of-the-table Oxenhope Recreation, who must be glad the season is nearly over, and then won 3-1 at Bradley, with Andy Tanner and substitute Michael Turner among the scorers.

Bradley's reply came from substitute Joshua Waind, but more memorable was their 3-1 victory at home to second-placed Rolls Reserves, who can't overtake Cowling.

On target for Bradley, who are at AFC Colne on Wednesday, were Joseph Allen, David Hunt and man of the match Miles Thompson.

Silsden Whitestar Reserves now know their opponents in the Division Three Cup final.

They will face title rivals Ilkley – both are already promoted – at Cowling on Tuesday, May 2 (6.30pm) after the leaders defeated Salts Reserves 5-1 in the remaining semi-final.

In the league, Cowling Reserves and Sutton swapped places in ninth and tenth after the former won 2-1 at home.

Man of the match Alasdair McEwan bagged both goals for Cowling, Sutton replying via Mickey Ruddock.

Cowling Reserves host fourth-placed Horton on Wednesday night.

Andy Hardeman and Tom Pilling were on target for Bradley Reserves, who went down 3-2 at home to Salts Reserves in midweek.

In Division Two, champions Settle United Reserves wrap up their programme on Wednesday with a visit to Cononley Sports, who could climb to third with a win.
