THACKLEY Reserves won two matches in three days in the Lancashire League.
Firstly they beat Bradford RIASA 3-0.
Joe Keen opened the scoring for Thackley after 22 minutes, and Andy McHugh gave them a 2-0 half-time lead.
With 15 minutes to go, Thackley secured the points when Matt Keen netted their final goal.
Thackley, whose squad was boosted as their first team had no game, then beat Silsden Reserves 6-0.
In a one-sided first half, Thackley deservedly took the lead on the quarter-hour when Keen scored with a shot from outside the box.
Bradley Holland added the second goal with a tap-in on the half-hour and, a minute later, Andy Howland got the third when he chased down a loose ball and rounded the goalkeeper.
Thackley's goalkeeper Luke Wilson was at full stretch to push away a goal-bound effort, but this was Silsden’s only real opportunity.
Just before the break, McHugh netted to make it 4-0, and Thackley continued to dominate in the second half, with Howland and McHugh completing the scoring with their second goals.
