BROOMHILL have had a memorable three days in the Skipton Body Repair Centre Craven League.

Last Thursday, they defeated Bingley Juniors 3-0 at Aire View to reach the Division One Cup final, and on Saturday the Marley side won 2-0 at home to Carleton to climb from seventh to third in the league.

Chris Holroyd, Andy King and Andy Tanner were on target for Broomhill at Bingley, and they must have been expecting to face Cowling in the final.

However, the Division One champions surprisingly lost 1-0 at home to eighth-placed Chatburn in a feisty affair in which Cowling had three booked and Chatburn two.

Chatburn thus face Broomhill in the final at Carleton's Ramper Park tomorrow night.

At the weekend, Broomhill's man of the match Holroyd was on target as visitors Carleton were beaten.

Sporting Keighley survived in the Premier Division by a point, despite losing their last match 5-0 at Grassington United, Shazad Khan being the visitors' man of the match.

Silsden Whitestar's bid to finish second hit a bump in the road with a 4-2 defeat at Pendle Renegades.

Jamie Longley and man of the match Mateusz Tomas netted for Whitestar, who also had Dan McNulty sent off.

Oxenhope Recreation lost their final match of the season 6-3 at home to Skipton Town, meaning that they have gone through the whole campaign without winning.

Rec were trailing 4-0 at half-time, but, inspired by Tom Duffin, at least salvaged some pride with goals by Gareth Atkinson, Connor Pepper and substitute Adam Hanson.

Bradley, who finished third from bottom, were losing 2-1 at half-time at AFC Colne, and eventually lost 4-3.

On target for Bradley, whose man of the match was Jordan Blackburn, were Miles Thompson (2) and Joe Stapleton.

In Division Two, Cononley Sports went down 4-3 at home to champions Settle United Reserves in an entertaining clash, with man of the match Chris Lumsden (2) and Richard Osadsenko netting for Sports.

In Division Three, Cowling, whose gong winner was again Thabani Songo, went down 2-0 at home to Horton, while Sutton's comeback at home to Bingley Juniors Reserves couldn't quite garner a point.

The hosts trailed 3-0 at half-time but hit back via Lukasz Sarosinki and Jamie Wilson as they were inspired by Jack Shaw.
