FOR THE first time in 16 years there was no silverware on show at Oxenhope Recreation's annual presentation, which saw over 50 players and supporters in attendance.

The first team did reach the final of the Keighley Cup but could not manage a fourth consecutive success after being beaten 3-2 in extra time by Silsden White Star.

After six seasons in the top flight of the West Yorkshire League Premier Division, the first team finished third from bottom and were relegated to Division One.

The reserves finished in the lower half of the West Yorkshire Alliance Division One, the third team were relegated from Craven League Division One, the under-18s came fourth in the top division of the Craven, Aire & Wharfe Junior League and the under-16s came a creditable sixth.

Two long-serving players, Chris Day and Ben White, were made life members, having played for over 20 years for the club at junior and senior level. Both were members of the County Cup winning squad in 2015.

White also won the newly-named Darren Hopkinson Memorial Trophy supporters award.
