THE big derby at Dennyfield in the Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division ended all-square as Thackley twice came from a goal down to draw 2-2 with Liversedge.

Sedge netted the only goal of the first half through Joe Walton in the 19th minute but the home side hit back through Joe Hughes just before the hour.

The visitors went ahead again when Devonte Morton scored inside the last ten minutes before Sam Cable bagged a penultimate-minute equaliser.

Albion Sports bounced back from a midweek away defeat to claim a maximum from their trip to high-flying Worksop Town.

Omar Habeeb gave them an early lead and, after great work from Alex Cusack, Redmond Lee doubled the visitors’ advantage five minutes before the break.

Campion made it back-to-back wins in Division One as they won 3-0 at Retford United.

Campion’s hosts were in the top tier last term but the relegated side had no resistance to James Bicknell’s side.

Danny Brown and Leon Hurles-Brook were on target in the first half, and Talent Ndlovu’s last-minute penalty completed the scoring.

Eccleshill United continue to struggle, however, as they went down 4-3 at home to Grimsby Borough and tumbled to 16th.

The Eagles led twice when Ben Hardy netted either side of the interval but the visitors never lost touch as Daniel Trott hit their first equaliser just over a minute before the break and Carlton Pownall put through his own goal just after the hour.

Goals from Jack Debnam and Jamie Rowbotham saw Boro open a 4-2 lead before Scott Manning made it an interesting last ten minutes.

Silsden continued their 100 per cent start in Division One of the Hallmark Security League as they ended fellow high-flyers Alsager Town’s unbeaten start.

The Cobbydalers took the lead after just seven minutes through a Joe Gaughan strike and, although the Bullets hit back late on, when Taylor Attrell levelled, Arley Barnes netted the home side’s winner seven minutes from time.

The result leaves only Silsden and leaders – on goal difference only – Whitchurch Alport as the only clubs in the division with unblemished starts after four league games.
