CRAVEN LEAGUE Premier Division leaders Silsden Whitestar kept their perfect start to the season intact with a 4-1 win over Pendle Renegades.

Player of the match James Wilson was on target twice while Damien Whiteoak and Will Storrie added the other two goals in a dominant display.

Sporting Keighley’s difficult start continued with a 5-1 defeat to Settle United, Shazad Khan scoring his side’s only goal as they remain at the foot of the table without a point after three games.

Cross Hills got their first win at the expense of struggling Cowling, with man of the match Joel Birks scoring twice in a 3-1 result.

Harry Eastbury added the third, with George Sellars’ strike for the visitors unable to guide them to their first victory.

In Division One, Cononley Sports kicked off their campaign with a massive 7-0 win over Earby Town, while Broomhill downed Settle United’s reserves by a 3-1 scoreline, with goals from Josh Nelson (2) and Andy Tanner.

Bradley, meanwhile, endured a tough outing at leaders Carleton, who picked them apart for a 7-0 win.

Silsden Whitestar Reserves jumped up to third in Division Two with an 8-0 hiding against Pendle Renegades Reserves, with Burnley Belvedere going strong in their bid to join them in that division, topping Division Three with four wins from four after beating Cross Hills Reserves 8-3.

Billy Skelton twice got himself on the scoresheet to be named man of the match, with Cross Hills’ third goal coming from substitute Kyle Steel.

Cowling Reserves’ Jack Diamond scored a brace to earn them a 2-0 win over Bingley Town Reserves, a return doubled by Broomhill Reserves’ Tyler Brigg.

He scored four as they defeated Sutton 6-1, David Spence and Munzir Nazir adding the others as Broomhill climbed to fifth.
