WINTER weather all but wiped out the Keighley area football programme for a second successive weekend.
A combination of rain in midweek coupled with frozen temperatures on Friday night saw the vast majority of games in the local area postponed.
Silsden, Steeton and Oxenhope had first-team and reserve-team games called off, with the only match in the Craven League to beat the weather seeing Bingley Town Reserves lose 4-0 at home to Burnley Belvedere.
It was a similar story in the Wharfedale Triangle, with Keighley Crusaders' 5-1 Championship defeat at home to Shadwell being the one game to take place.
There is no action this weekend as clubs take a break for the festive season.
