OXENHOPE Recreation might have had dreams of causing an upset in the second half of their delayed West Riding County FA Challenge Cup tie at home to Carlton Athletic.
Rec, who are next to bottom in Division One, only trailed 1-0 at the interval, but it was 6-0 by the end of the all-West Yorkshire League clash against the Premier Division champions.
Goals for the winners came from Anees Younis (3), Scott Burns (2) and Liam Moore.
There was only one game played in West Yorkshire League Division One, but it was an important one, pitting fourth-placed Whitkirk Wanderers against third-placed Wyke Wanderers.
It was 1-1 at half-time, with Matt Conway having netted for Wyke, but Whitkirk got the only goal of the second half to climb to second, while Wyke dropped to fourth.
