KEIGHLEY Athletic moved a step closer to the Wharfedale Triangle Premier Division title with a 4-2 win at Ilkley Dynamo.

They remain five points clear at the summit thanks to a hat-trick from Owen Williamson and a goal from Joe Brady.

This Sunday sees them host third-placed Shipley Town as they look to maintain the gap between themselves and second-placed neighbours Keighley Town.

Town kept up the pressure on their rivals with a 6-1 home win over Hampsthwaite United as Ryan Stubbs and Leon Smith bagged a brace apiece.

The hosts led 2-1 at the break before taking control in the second half, Liam Bellamy and Leroy Hickman also on target.

Meanwhile, Cullingworth Youth are due to pay tribute to former player Douglas Ratcliffe, who has died recently.

Cullingworth stalwart Allan Feather can remember Douglas playing for him when he first became manager.

The Youth boss said: "He was a talented player and a great character. He was also a very good cricketer."

Cullingworth are set to wear black armbands and hold a minute's silence before the start of their next home match against Eldwick in the Henry Nicholson Trophy on Sunday, March 25.

Youth's match at Burton Leonard was postponed last Sunday due to a waterlogged pitch, with attempts to switch the match to Cullingworth – who are still due to host Burton – also being thwarted.

Youth are away to Harrogate side Hampsthwaite on Sunday.
